Driver Eligibility – Punjab and Haryana High Court Recruitment 2026
Candidates should:
- Be at least 10+2 pass.
- Have Punjabi/Hindi as one of the subjects in matriculation.
- Possess a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving licence.
- Have at least 2 years’ experience of driving a car.
- Not have been convicted for negligent driving.
Age Limit
The age should be 18 to 35 years as on 18 September 2026. Ex-servicemen are eligible for the relaxation specified in the notification.

Selection Process
Eligible/shortlisted candidates will be called for a Practical Test-cum-Interview. Selection for the Driver post will be based on performance in the Practical Test-cum-Interview. The notice also provides for a trial period for candidates proposed for appointment.

Under Employment Notice No. 05/Frash/HC/2026, the High Court has announced 31 Frash vacancies. Online applications can be submitted from 28 August 2026 to 18 September 2026 at 11:59 PM.

Frash Eligibility
Candidates should have knowledge of Hindi and the regional language. The prescribed age limit is 18 to 35 years as on 18 September 2026.

Frash Selection Process
Selection will be based on an Interview of 50 marks, consisting of:
- 25 marks – Suitability to the Job
- 25 marks – Etiquettes/Manners
Candidates equivalent to four times the advertised vacancies, category-wise and according to interview merit, will be called for the Physical Endurance Test (PET). The PET is qualifying in nature and includes 800-metre Race, Long Jump and High Jump.
The final list will be prepared from candidates who qualify the PET, strictly according to their merit in the Interview.
