Salary for RRB Section Controller Recruitment 2026
Selected candidates will receive:
- Pay Level: Level-6 (7th CPC)
- Initial Basic Pay: ₹35,400 per month
- DA, HRA, TA and other Railway allowances as per Government rules.

Educational Qualification for RRB Section Controller Recruitment 2026
Applicants must possess:
- Graduation (Bachelor’s Degree) from a recognized University or equivalent.
Candidates awaiting final results are not eligible to apply.
Age Limit (As on 01 July 2026)
- Minimum Age: 20 Years
- Maximum Age: 33 Years
Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD and other eligible categories as per Government rules.

Selection Process for RRB Section Controller Recruitment 2026
The recruitment process consists of:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
Negative marking of 1/3 mark will be applicable for each incorrect answer in CBT.
Medical Standard
- Medical Standard: A-2
- Candidates must satisfy the prescribed medical fitness standards.
- Candidates who have undergone LASIK surgery are not eligible for the post of Section Controller.
