ECoR GDCE Recruitment 2026 Eligibility

Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the specified trades is also accepted. Alternatively, a three-year Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Automobile Engineering, or relevant combinations, is accepted in lieu of ITI. A relevant Engineering Degree is also acceptable in lieu of Diploma.
Station Master:
A Degree from a recognised University or equivalent is required. The post carries Medical Standard A-2.
Goods Trains Manager:
Candidates should possess a Degree from a recognised University or equivalent.
Junior Engineer:
Qualification varies by engineering category. For Civil Engineering posts, a three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering or a three-year B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, or an applicable combination of sub-streams, is prescribed. Other JE categories have specific engineering diploma requirements.
Technician Grade III:
The qualification generally includes Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI in the relevant NCVT/SCVT trade or Course Completed Act Apprenticeship. The relevant trade varies according to the Technician category.
Junior Clerk cum Typist:

ECoR GDCE Age Limit 2026
The upper age limit is:

ECoR GDCE Selection Process 2026
The recruitment process includes:
Computer Based Test (CBT) → CBAT/Typing Skill Test, wherever applicable → Document Verification → Medical Examination
The exact stages depend upon the post. ALP and Station Master candidates have to appear for the Computer Based Aptitude Test, while Junior Clerk cum Typist candidates have to qualify in the Computer Based Typing Skill Test.
