Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) has invited applications from eligible and qualified Indian nationals for 107 project-based positions under its latest recruitment drive. The vacancies are available for Project Manager, Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist, Advisors, Technical Experts, B.Tech Engineers and ITI candidates.
The appointments are purely temporary, contractual and project-based. The engagement will remain co-terminus with the project and will not provide any claim for regular appointment or absorption at IIM Indore.

Educational Qualification and Experience
Project Manager – 1 Post
Candidates should have a Ph.D./Postgraduate Degree in Engineering, Management or a related discipline with relevant project management experience. The position requires 10+ years of experience in large-scale infrastructure/government projects, cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management.
Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist – 2 Posts
Candidates should have a degree in Engineering, Management, Statistics, Public Policy, Planning or a related discipline.
- Senior Profile: 8+ years’ experience
- Junior Profile: 3+ years’ experience
Advisors – 4 Posts
Candidates should have a Ph.D. or Postgraduate Degree in disciplines such as Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Public Health Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, Environmental Planning or related fields.
The required experience is 15+ years in strategic leadership, sectoral advisory, policy or urban infrastructure work.
Technical Experts – 10 Posts
Candidates should have a Ph.D. or Postgraduate Degree in relevant engineering, architecture or planning disciplines.
- Senior: 8+ years’ experience
- Junior: 3+ years’ experience
Experience in technical design, quality auditing or execution of urban infrastructure projects is relevant for these positions.
B.Tech Engineers / ITI – 90 Posts
The recruitment also includes 90 positions for B.Tech Engineers/ITI candidates with experience.
The notice states that 3rd/4th-year B.Tech students and fresh graduates may apply, while candidates with 0–3 years of experience are eligible. Basic field/survey experience will be preferred.
IIM Indore Recruitment 2026 – Job Duration
The tenure varies according to the position:
- Project Manager: 7 months
- Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist: 7 months
- Advisors: Initially 4 months, extendable up to 7 months
- Technical Experts: Initially 4 months, extendable up to 7 months
- B.Tech Engineers/ITI: 3 months, extendable by up to 2 additional months
Extensions are subject to project requirements and satisfactory performance.
IIM Indore Recruitment 2026 Salary
Selected candidates will receive consolidated monthly remuneration based on their qualifications, relevant experience, suitability and applicable project norms.
The notification states that salary will not be a constraint for exceptional candidates.
