The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released Advertisement No. 04/2026 dated 01 September 2026 for the Common Recruitment Examination for Group-A & Group-B Gazetted (Technical) Posts–2026 (Part-I). APPSC Group A & Group B Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for these posts must fulfil the eligibility conditions mentioned in the notification. The recruitment requires candidates to be Indian citizens and permanent residents/inhabitants of Arunachal Pradesh with a valid PRC and APST Certificate. - Assistant Director (Sericulture): Bachelor’s degree in Science with Post Graduate Diploma in Sericulture.

Group-B Post: Dairy Development Officer is placed in Pay Level 6, with a pay scale of ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400.

The selection process will consist of a Written Examination and Viva-voce/Interview. If the number of applicants is higher than the prescribed ratio, APPSC may conduct an Objective Type Recruitment Test as a screening stage.

The written examination carries 450 marks, followed by 50 marks for Viva-voce, making the total selection marks 500.

Recruitment Test
Where a screening test is required, APPSC may conduct an Objective Type Recruitment Test of 200 marks based on the concerned subject. The marks obtained in this screening test will not be counted towards final merit.

APPSC Group A & Group B Syllabus 2026
The syllabus is divided into General English & General Studies and the concerned technical subject. Candidates should focus their preparation according to the post they have applied for. The technical papers will cover the respective discipline such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary Science, Sericulture or Dairy Technology.
For the written examination, candidates should prepare both Paper-I and Paper-II of the concerned subject, along with General English and General Studies.
