Selected candidates will be engaged as Fixed Term Executives (FTE). The consolidated monthly pay varies according to the grade:

Industrial Safety
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology with a Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Safety Engineering Management or B.Tech in Safety/Fire Engineering.
Geology
Post Graduate Degree in Geology or Applied Geology.
Electrical
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology.
Mechanical
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mining Machinery.
Civil
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Medical & Health Services
MBBS from a recognized institute with the prescribed professional experience. Candidates with PG Diploma qualifications must also meet the specified experience requirement.
Environment Management
Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering/Technology, or the prescribed engineering qualification with PG qualification/diploma in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or Environmental Science, or a PG Degree in Environmental Science.
Mineral Processing
B.Tech/B.E. in Mineral and Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Engineering or Mineral Processing, or the prescribed M.Tech qualification.
Human Resources

HCL Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
The maximum age varies according to the FTE grade:
- FTE-I: 35 years
- FTE-II: 40 years
- FTE-III: 42 years

Age, qualification and experience are reckoned as on 01 September 2026. Age relaxation is applicable to eligible SC, OBC (NCL), PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates as prescribed in the notification.
HCL Selection Process 2026
The selection process is primarily based on Personal Interview (PI), carrying 100% weightage.
HCL may shortlist candidates for interview based on relevant experience and additional qualifications. The company also reserves the right to conduct a written screening test, if required.
Generally, candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interview in a 1:5 ratio against the advertised vacancies, subject to the conditions mentioned in the official notification.
