Punjab PTI Teacher Recruitment 2026 Syllabus

The Punjab PTI Teacher Recruitment 2026 syllabus is designed to assess candidates’ knowledge of Physical Education, Sports Science, General Knowledge, Punjabi Language, Reasoning, and Teaching Aptitude. According to the official notification, the recruitment process includes a 70-mark objective-type written examination, followed by a qualifying Physical Eligibility Test. The final merit list will be prepared based on the written examination and sports achievement weightage. Candidates should thoroughly prepare the core concepts of physical education, sports rules, child development, teaching methodology, and current affairs to secure high marks.

The written examination is expected to cover topics such as History of Physical Education, Health Education, Sports Psychology, Exercise Physiology, Sports Injuries, Yoga, Nutrition, Sports Rules, General Awareness, Mental Ability, Computer Basics, Punjabi Language, and Elementary Teaching Methods. Since the examination follows an objective (MCQ) pattern, candidates should focus on conceptual understanding, regular mock tests, and previous year question papers to improve accuracy and speed. The Physical Eligibility Test (PET) is qualifying in nature, where candidates must successfully complete three out of five prescribed physical events.

Candidates preparing for the Punjab PTI Exam 2026 should create a study schedule covering both the written syllabus and physical fitness. Daily revision, current affairs preparation, sports-related knowledge, and practice of physical events like running, shuttle run, standing broad jump, and flexibility exercises will significantly improve overall performance. Aspirants are advised to regularly check the official recruitment portal for any syllabus updates or examination notices.
