The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC), Hyderabad has released Notification No. 04/OG/HM/2026 dated 18 September 2026 for Direct Recruitment to the post of Manager (Engineering) in Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB). TGPSC HMWSSB Manager Educational Qualification 2026
Candidates must possess the prescribed educational qualification as on 18 September 2026, the date of notification. The result of the qualifying examination must have been declared by the concerned university by that date; merely appearing in the examination or processing of the result is not sufficient.
For Manager (Engineering), candidates must be Graduate in Engineering.
The engineering disciplines are distributed as follows:

95% local reservation is applicable to posts notified under Multi-Zone-II as per the relevant Telangana Government orders.

Examination Fee

- Unemployed applicants: Exempted from examination fee
- Government employees, including Central/State Government, PSUs, Corporations and other Government-sector employees, have to pay the prescribed examination fee.
The fee must be paid online through the prescribed payment gateway. Once paid, the fee will not be refunded or adjusted.
TGPSC HMWSSB Manager Selection Process 2026
The selection will be made through an Objective Type Written Examination, which may be conducted through CBRT or OMR mode.
Selection will be based on the marks secured in the examination.

TGPSC HMWSSB Manager Exam Centres
The written examination will be conducted at the following centres, or at other centres as decided by the Commission:

The Commission reserves the right to allot a candidate to a centre other than the one selected by the candidate or to create/remove centres for administrative reasons. Requests for change of examination centre will not be entertained.

How to Apply for TGPSC HMWSSB Manager Recruitment 2026
Candidates must apply online only through the official TGPSC website.
Step 1 – One Time Registration
Candidates who have not previously registered with TGPSC must visit the TGPSC website and complete the One Time Registration (OTR) to obtain a TGPSC ID.
Candidates who already have OTR can directly access the application using their TGPSC ID.
Step 2 – Online Application
- Visit the official TGPSC website.
- Click on the online application link.
- Enter your TGPSC ID and Date of Birth.
- Login using the OTP received on the registered mobile number.
- Verify details fetched from the OTR database.
- Select the examination centre.
- Preview the application carefully.
- Click SAVE & PAYMENT.
- Pay the applicable fee through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card or UPI.
- Confirm and submit the application.
- Download and preserve the submitted application PDF.
Important: OTR registration alone is not an application. Candidates must submit a separate online application specifically for this notification.

Important Instructions for Candidates
Candidates should carefully verify all information before final submission. The Commission will not make changes to the submitted application, and incomplete or incorrect applications may be rejected.
Candidates already working in Government service, autonomous bodies or Government-aided institutions must inform their Head of Office/Department and submit an NOC when required.
Candidates must appear in all papers of the examination. Absence from any paper will result in disqualification.
The selected candidates should be willing to serve anywhere in Telangana State.
