• GNM / Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), or
• B.Sc. Nursing

NHM Tamil Nadu Staff Nurse Salary

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated remuneration of ₹21,000 per month, as per NHM norms. Any future revision of remuneration by NHM will also be applicable.

Selection will be based on a weightage-based scoring system for a maximum of 100 marks, as prescribed in the relevant Government Order.

If two or more candidates obtain the same total marks, preference will be given to the older candidate based on date of birth.

1. Download the prescribed application form from the NHM-TN website or respective District website.

Important Terms of Appointment

This is a purely temporary and contractual position and does not provide regular Government employment or permanent absorption. The contract may be renewed after every 11 months, subject to performance appraisal.

Selected candidates are required to report to the concerned District Health Officer within 3 days of receiving the appointment order and must produce the required testimonials and a Physical Fitness Certificate at the time of joining.

The recruitment notification also states that the notification is not applicable to the districts where the Model Code of Conduct for elections is currently in force, including Tiruppur and Chengalpattu, as mentioned in the notice.
