PGIMER Nursing Officer Vacancy 2026
A total of 243 vacancies have been announced:
- UR – 99
- SC – 36
- ST – 18
- OBC – 66
- EWS – 24
Ten vacancies are earmarked for PwBD candidates.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should fulfil the prescribed nursing qualification and registration requirements. The eligibility routes include:
- B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing from a recognized University/Institute; or
- Regular B.Sc. Nursing; or
- Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing; or
- GNM Diploma from a recognized Board/Council with the prescribed experience requirement.
Candidates under the nursing qualification routes are required to have the applicable registration with the State Nursing Council. For the GNM route, the notification requires one year of experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital.
Age Limit
The prescribed age limit is:
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 35 Years
- Age Cut-off Date: 03 October 2026
Age relaxation is applicable to eligible reserved categories as per government rules.
